Joseph Slawek is an associate at the Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining Landau & Associates, P.A. focused on civil, criminal, family, and immigration law. During his legal tenure, Joseph has overseen all aspects of large client caseloads including building and leveraging relationships; negotiating and supervising medical payments and settlement packages; conducting depositions and mediations; extensive legal case research; and writing motions, memos and demand letters. In 2019, Joseph worked for Youth Co-Op, Inc., a not-for-profit organization specializing in immigration services. While there, Joseph assisted in researching and writing briefs on asylum cases for the Homeland Security Department. In 2013, Joseph received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida State University. He completed his studies by earning his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2020.
